Disclaimer: I got en eARC copy from Entangled Teen via Netgalley.

Overall this book was a quick and easy read that will tickle your fancy if you love aliens and tons of action. I am intrigued enough in the story that I will continue on with the sequel when it comes out. I have too many questions and I am looking forward to finding out the answers!

Disclaimer: I received this ARC from the Thomas Allen & Son to review.

I enjoyed this middle grade retelling so much! The story never dropped in pace and was always progressing. Andaryn was a truly lovable character that made me sympathize with her and root for her to win.
Overall I adored this book and I would definitely recommend people of all ages to read it. It is a compelling retelling of the Six Swans tale that does justice to the original.

Actual Rating! 2.5 Stars

Overall I don‘t feel like this was a bad book but it dragged on and it seems like it took forever for something to actually happen. I am hoping that the pace will pick up in the next book now that we have got the story up and running. I have a bunch of questions that I want answered so while I wasn‘t blown away by the first book, I do plan on continuing the series.

I was provided an eARC copy of the book by Candlewick Press. DNF‘d.

I was extremely disappointed to find that the publisher didn‘t give any trigger warnings when promoting this book. I was expecting a Beauty and the Beast retelling, instead all I got was juvenile writing style, characters with no depth to them and a rape scene that I had no idea was coming. I would not recommend this book, it would only be a waste of your time.

I received this book from the publisher to review. Overall this book did not disappoint my expectations at all. It had twists and turns that I couldn‘t even anticipate and it kept me guessing the entire time. I loved watching Felicity grow from a meek commoner to a Morgana Agent who is comfortable with herself and who she‘s become. I am eagerly anticipating the next book in his series and I most definitely recommend you check this one out!

I have to say, this is one of my favourite worlds that I've read about in a long time. Reading this book as a middle grader, it has everything; action, adventure, magic, and mystery. Middle graders will be spellbound and looking for their own magical pen. Hopefully this book can definitely inspire some to pick up the pen and start creating their own worlds. So come join the world of Word Weavers and read the Princess and the Page!

When Candlewick Press contacted me asking me if I was interested in this book I was thrilled. This book was such a fun read! You can easily fly through it in a few hours but I really recommend taking your time with this anthology. I loved seeing the different mediums of the books too.

Some stories that were my favourites: Alison Croggon, Markus Zusak, Kate Constable, Queenie Chan.

If you love reading, I recommend that you go and read this book.

This book was a harrowing, realistic read that opens up conversation into a very serious real life issues plaguing the teenagers of today; catfishing, online bullying, sexual harassment, racism, etc. It makes a case that more mental health help is needed as well as a need to erase the stigma for using those services. It opens up the conversation and issues that most people want to forget exist. This book is something everybody should read.
