The illustrations in this worked though the flow of the book I thought could have been better. It touches upon all the important aspects Of Einstein‘s life and works but not the best read.

You can talk about the issues and the stigma women face even with humour. One funny book discussing deep prejudices faced by women in most societies. This is definitely worth a read

I am definitely reading the sequel. And this book has given me an appetite to know more about this queen.

There aren‘t too many books which talk about mental illness. This one deals with Bipolar Disorder from the point of view of the caregivers. Written with a sense of humour, a love story is deftly woven into the telling. I feel saying anymore will be a spoiler so suffice it to say that this book is a must read. There are tears and there is laughter and it leaves you wanting to know some more.

This was my 9th Louise Penny. Obviously I am a huge fan. A young boy cries Wolf and there are serious repercussions. Gamache feels a moral responsibility and along with his team solves a puzzle of national import. A fantastic story line and the usual adept handling by the canadian author. Loved it

Each character in the book is fleshed out carefully and the flow of the tale so perfect that it felt like a loss to turn the last page. Set after the WWII the book talks about the people of Guernsey were effected during the war. There is a love story too in there but so subtle that the gradual process is cheered on by the reader automatically. Loved it completely

The story revolves around a man almost obsessed with the stories of Rostam and Sohrab along with the similar story of Oedipus all his life. Written beautifully in the inimitable Orhan Pamuk style, the story flows seamlessly. Theough three generations of men in his family, the author dwells on the expectations and reverence between fathers and sons.

This was my first Murakami. I was quite fascinated by the subtleties in the story, the open endedness. For a long time it felt that I could not understand what was happening till I realised that the work is open to interpretation. The ending was also left ambiguous - you can reach your own conclusions . That said I quite enjoyed the story of 3 people no two of which love each other in return. Its a story of love and longingness and quite a read

Actually double pick. A very honest account of a father coming to terms with his special son. I was hooked from the word Go. I read 50 pages without realising. After a long time I read something where i had to mark so many parts as it was outstanding.

A retelling of the greek myth of Clytmnestra and Agammemnon. Very well done

I like her well fleshed out characters and the setting
