Disappointing. This book ha spot entail but had a lot of loose threads and never went as far as I wanted. I also think Eggers might suck at writing women.

Read this book from my classroom library. A good choice the for the younger, Star Wars-lover in your life.

Beautifully drawn graphic novel. I read it all in 1 day. The characters are captured very vividly. Although I can't relate to the author's fertility struggles, I very much identified with her feelings of being untethered. Excellent afterword to sum up the heart of the book.

I read this book during my 3rd move in 6 years. It resonated! The idea of home, is it a place? A person? I love the different perspectives and the long view of life over generations. When the great grandmother left Germany in tears, I cried with her.
