I know I cannot be the only person who when I watch a TV commercial for a new show and hear the words, "based on the book by", runs out and buys the book.

"Feed" is a book by Seanan McGuire, writing under the pseudonym Mira Grant. This is a darker book than those she writes under the McGuire name. It's a political thriller with the zombies as a backdrop and not the main storyline. Although an easy read, it scarily mimics todays political and religious climates with the real catch being that it was copyrighted in 2010. Thoroughly recommend.
