I have read this book a couple of times and will continue to read it throughout my life. No matter what religion you are this book has something for everyone and deals with loss in its own unique way.

I felt like it was hard to get into. The writing was good and the story was there but I just couldn't get into it. I felt like I wanted more emotion to be in the forefront and the more emotional parts dealt with the animals. Animal death is hard for me to deal with in particular so that didn't help.
The way the author jumps back and forth between the characters is normally a turn off for me as a reader but she was able to pull it off quite well. She left off in parts that would keep the readers interest and did not always start off in the exact same place when she began the next chapter of the same character. The storyline is interesting for all the characters. Would recommend for this to be on a summer reading list.
It was interesting. The author did a good job of keeping the reader unaware of the entire plot but was still able to keep them hooked with just enough. All in all, I would recommend this as a good summer read!
