this book gives me so many emotions, the way the author portrays the character and the way she reacts to them, and the little things that evoke so much pain and envy are just so good, i can't wait to finish

If I hadn‘t of read the manga first I probably would have hated the book it‘s slow and the plot kinda gets lost with the characters struggling to get money and survive.
I however love the characters and how they were portrayed. This is what land of lustrous should have been, both series have their main characters go through so much and it breaks them, but unlike Land of lustrous this had its main character work through it.

I personally did not care for the book if you are interested in the plot I recommend the show instead. reading for a week got me to page 97, witch if watch the show gets you to 12:34, all most half an episode for the same engagement as a weeks worth of reading garbage. And you may think oh made by the same people who made no game no life. But it‘s all the bad plot and none of the fan service.
