Finally got around to reading it. I love books by Anne McCaffrey, so I was sure it would be great. It didn‘t disappoint, although I was rather sad that all the rest of the ship books I checked out seem to feature different characters. I would have enjoyed a continuation of the story. It left off at the best part, she finally had her permanent partner and they were going off on their first mission, then the end.

A lighter and faster read after A Memory Called Empire. Wasn‘t sure I would like the protagonist after the intro scene was her reminiscing about killing her first love, but she kind of grows on you. Really wasn‘t sure how to feel about liking the book considering how both main characters seem to subscribe to a very practical set of morals. Still a fun read, though.

An interesting concept, how memory and personality are tied together. A rather good space opera. I enjoyed reading this book and will definitely get the sequel once it comes out.

Sassy teen done well. I enjoyed the whole series. It was fast paced, just the right amount of snarky, and did a good job of keeping me intrigued throughout.
