This book creeped me out, mostly because of the teacher-crush angle. It's definitely a good read and the twists were well done (plus, the message about why crushing on an adult is icky).

I love Gregory's historical fiction (despite the heavy romance angle she takes), but this one was kind of flat. It's the first in a series, so it might pick up, but it's not to her usual level of storytelling.
I didn't much care for this; the beautiful language felt forced. I had to reread passages several times to get through the fluff and figure out what the hell was going on.
Great style and use of diverse characters. A fun new addition to the Olympian series.
I thoroughly enjoyed Cooper's Library of Souls trilogy, so I was excited to see this one. I was really disappointed in the significant amount of direct characterization and obvious need of a solid editor. The premise was fun, but the prose and structure needed a lot more work.
I love Rollins for action; this book was a fun summer read that touches gently and respectfully on PTSD among soldiers. Also, the idea of drones as war tools is intriguing.
The pace was a bit slower than I like, but an interesting path with a decent twist at the end. I wish I could give somewhere between like and so-so.
This is the first book -ever- I had to run out and buy rather than read the library electronic version. It's richly worded and really explores what being a lover of books and words is like.
I usually read action/adventure, so loving this book really surprised me, but I've gotten many hooked on it.
