This autobiography of the popular governor of Florida (Ron DeSantis) makes a compelling case for why he should be the next POTUS. Desantis is man of integrity, a conservationist, a conservative, and an overall champion of freedom and the rule of law.

At first General Boykin's work was hard to get into. The chapters are short, but numerous. I would describe his writing style as someone giving snapshots of both his career and spiritual life. I forgot which chapter it was, but finally started to appreciate his life and get engrossed in his work. I highly recommend Never Surrender, especially those interested in U.S. Special Forces, faith in combat, and overcoming adversity.

Guinn's book is about some of America's most popular historic figures from the early 20th century, getting together for both pleasure and publicity. His work is a good read and captures well the personalities of Ford, Edison, Firestone, and Burroughs. It also is a good reminder that historic figures are complex - capable of both genius and folly or charity and hate. I recommend this book.

At just over 50 pages, Kruger's book has more the feel of a booklet. Despite its size, this book concisely refutes the false doctrines of progressive Christianity. In short, I recommend his work.

Since the history of the tractor is tied with my community, this book intrigued me. As for the read, it is both engaging and mundane at times. Nevertheless, if you are interested in tractors, John Deere, Henry Ford, and International Harvester, this book is a must read.

Inspired after watching the movie, I decided to delve into this chapter in Korean war history. It is little disappointing to find out in the book which parts of the movie were inaccurate, nevertheless the stories of Jesse Brown, Tom Hudner, and others who served heroically in the Forgotten War, will leave you in a rollercoaster of emotions. I highly recommend Makos book.

Lane's book is filled with twists and intriguing history. Who knew that the debates we have today about security, liberty, and the role of a national secret police in America were going on over 150 years ago too. This book is well worth the read.

This work focuses on the pursuit of finding the source of the Nile by a cast of unique personalities. Not my favorite of Millard's works. It had a lot more betrayal then adventure in it. Nevertheless, the story is very interesting and engaging at times and is well worth the read.

If you are familiar with any of Ramsey's earlier works, this book will mainly be a refresher on Biblical/ successful view of wealth and finances. He does add many new real life stories in this work. Now if you are new to Ramsey, this is an excellent book!

Dan Abram's work on Lincoln is worth reading. It is not always a page turner, but does contain interesting aspects of Lincoln's law career and the times he lived in.

Hymns of the Republic is quite the journey. Set in the final year of the Civil War, S.C. Gwyne provides fascinating biographies of both famous and not so famous figures.

Brian Kilmeade's work on Lincoln and Frederick Douglass is timely, balanced, and concise. I highly recommend it.

An eye-opening history of the American West. After reading this work, you will gain a good understanding in how the mighty Comanche were defeated and the times they lived in.

Although it took longer to get into than her pervious works, Hero of the Empire is still a fascinating story. It show cases a young Winston Churchill and his courageous and vain exploits during the Boer War.

This book brings to light a neglected Founding Father, that certainly deserves a more prominent place in our nation's psyche. The writing style was engaging at times, but not consistently.

Quite a rollercoaster of a book. It is a story mainly about baseball and is filled with triumphs, tragedy, and some interesting encounters with WWII as the backdrop.

The West Point class of 1846 lived through some challenging times. Waugh's book is filled with insight into battles, friendships, and other interesting historic encounters.

After reading this book I have new respect for Thomas Jackson. This book is a must read for Civil War buffs.
