"...residents of red states suffer higher rates of industrial pollution than do residents of blue states. Voters in the twenty-two states that voted Republican in the five presidential elections between 1992 and 2008 - and who generally call for less government regulation of business - lived in more polluted environments. Residents in the twenty-two Democratic states that generally favor stricter regulations...live in cleaner environments."

I never had a problem getting into a bathing suit in front of others until I moved to the west coast and a friend commented that he was proud of me for getting out and swimming with our group of coworkers. He has always had body image issues and mine weren't significant until that comment made me realize I was no longer living in the land where body shapes were as varied as the weather. Here's to finally getting out of that season of life!

I heard a theory that we are on the verge of a fourth turning so I am reading about it. I'm on page 3 and already afraid.

Book club pick from November (what, I'm just a bit behind and they haven't kicked me out yet!). I recommend it if you've got a leaning toward Christianity. Otherwise you might feel like you're being preached to.

I'm fighting a cold and should go to sleep early but I'd like to get to the halfway mark in this book first...

Trending on Goodreads and I am sure it has nothing to do with Trump's behavior.

Interesting true story about how teenage pregnancy was 'handled' in the 1970s.

If only the people who NEED to read this book would read it they'd see things like this!

Reading this for book club even though I'm tempted to check Facebook first. Books make me smarter. Facebook does not. Decision made!
