Richard Lange is one of the best. Think Connelly, Winslow and Blauner. They are the best and so is Lange. This book has a lot of what makes a book great. Easily identifiable characters who are facing life' problems head on. Drugs, money, ex - wives and sick kids. Add con jobs both long and short and you have what makes this book so entertaining.

Don Winslow is one of the five best crime writers. Think of Connelly, Blauner, Lange, James W. Hall. All great. If you like good writing, read Winslow immediately. This is a well written police procedural. The author was a long time NYPD detective. I read a lot of commercial fiction, exclusively crime fiction. This is one of the better books I have read. I am trying to get this picked up by a publisher. If anybody knows an-open minded agent or editor, please contact me.
