pickLet me tell you something about this novella... it is one of my favorite books in this series. I can hardly call it a novella because of its size and content!
If you're on the fence about reading this, I highly recommend that you do!
We get to meet the wonderful Sam and learn more about Celaena's past. It is truly amazing. FIVE STARS- no- 100 STARS!

This was such a crazy read! So many new characters; so much stuff going on!!
I love Rowan.
I love Manon.
I love Aedion.
I love Dorian.
I love Chaol.
AND I LOVE CELAENA.
Decided to give this a 4.5 out of 5 because it sort of felt like a first book in a series... there was a lot of world building and character introductions which kind of slowed the pace for me.
But I loved it.
I'm so ready for QoS!!!

Sarah J Maas has the talent to keep you entertained throughout the whole book. You know how in some books there are some rather slow scenes? That is not the case with SJM!
And the characters are just so amazing! They all make mistakes and have their own struggles that they are dealing with. Also, the world building and character development are so well done!
I highly recommend this series- the books just keep getting better and better!
So I read this baby for the first time back in 2013...I think....anyway, I only got to CoM and TAB and never continued on. I was waiting for HoF to come out on paper back and when it did I was reading other things and blah blah blah... lol I hate when that happens!
I decided to pick it back up (well, I tried to start on HoF, but didn't remember diddly squat so I had to start over again...darn 😉😏😂)
