I really loved this book! I look forward to the next one.
books = comfort ❤️
"It was both physical and emotional. His chest hurt, as if someone had cut it open to take out his heart. He felt a dreadful hollowness unit, a real emptiness that could never be filled except by Christine's heart...understood only by those who have had the experience commonly described as 'falling head over heels in love.'"

I really do love Jane Austen 💜
It's a quick read, but totally worth your time! With every entry I was growing more and more worried about Tish and Matt. It was very real and very relatable. As an educator myself, I know some of the backgrounds our kids come from and wonder how they function. But the sad thing is, you don't always know what is going on outside the classroom... this book was a great reminder of that.
"Let me be brave enough not to fall on my knees and beg her to stay." - Jamie Fraser pg. 563-564.
Swoon ?
"suddenly it's as though I've a living flame in my arms...and I want only to throw myself into it and be consumed." Jamie Fraser is my new reason to swoon!
I really enjoyed reading from Christopher's point of view! It made it worth it for me. However, his mother, or perhaps the situation with his mother, extremely bothered me and made me physically (knots in my stomach) angry. I am unsure if I liked the ending or not because it doesn't seem resolved.
Is it too early to say, "I love this book!" when I'm only 8 pages in?
Not a bad way to spend the day. Not bad at all!
