I loved the storyline. That's it. I only liked what this book could have been. Not how it was. In all honestly I hated everyone in it and didn't like how it was written. Juvenile is the word l'd use. I know it was a reverse harem type of book, but the author didn't have to immediately let her jump into bed with Cyno right after she was with Blaec. The way he just tossed her to Jase though, also grated at me. This was just a really bad read for me.

This is a weird series for sure. I love the reverse harem concept. The whole teenage drama draws me in and the mystery surrounding this Academy as well as the cuteness of each boy's romance story with her keeps me reading, wanting to know what happens next. She's the problem. No one on earth can blush as much she does. You can't be so insecure.Grow a pair girl. I will however read the next book when it's out because of my boys. They are adorable🤗

Strong heroine, swoon worthy hero and a fantastic twist to an already brilliant tale. The style of writing made the story come alive. Turning the last page and seeing THE END was the only disappointment I got from this book.

I'm not saying that this is an absolutely wonderful read but it is an interesting one as well as all her other mystery books. They are written extremely well and I truly adore the heroines. They are quite likable and the mysteries are fun and easy to get into. Quick and lovely read.

What an ending. Definitely one of the best series to date. She created an entirely different world to the norm and wrote the story in such a way that it will never truly leave you. Hats off to you Cassandra. Dark Artifices is next.
