Hiding from the children and husband in the kitchen with a cuppa and a book I know I‘m going to enjoy!

As nuts as ever but I just love how he writes and his books are so different from anything else I read

Missed this on the telly for some reason and only picked up the book because I was away and didn‘t have anything else to read (not on purpose I should add!) but it had me gripped. A really enjoyable read with plenty of twists and turns.

It took a while for me to get into this but once I did I really enjoyed it especially the second half which brought back memories from my year abroad at uni.

So far so good. Think I‘m going to enjoy this one 😊

Not sure when I‘ll ever get chance to read it with a 4 month old and a 3 year old constantly needing my attention but I‘m ridiculously excited about the arrival of this beauty today!

Love Scarlett Thomas books usually but really didn't enjoy this one. The characters were all really unlikeable!
