Cold October night, quiet office, a candle and new book- I am in a happy place. Happy Friday 13th!

Looking forward to the promised terrific atmosphere in this gothic tale.
Seems quite October appropriate...Let the games begin.
I've been on a major memoir kick. This is the ultimate hedonistic rock and roll story. Drugs, music and women with a man-boy embracing it all.
I was bewitched by the eloquent way Lindy was able to place thoughts I have carried around in my mind my entire life into words. She brings forward the power that it's ok to be fat, it's ok to be an opinionated woman, it's ok to be who you are, unapologetically.
I expected raunchy jokes and stories, what I read was much more. This book was heartfelt and unpretentious. This book made me shed a few tiny tears and made me laugh out loud. Loved it.

I wanted to love this. I picked it up following a few positive reviews. I just didn't care about the characters-any of them.
