I love when Stephen King leaves a small trail of cookie crumbs leading to The Dark Tower in his books.

The epilogue alone is worth the five stars. The book is about this nice kid going to junior high. His friends include a kid who has a severe case of photosensitivity and girl who is into dark metal. The protagonist takes some very bad choices and then he is in front of two diferent paths; each of them would change him forever.

If you are a Stephen King reader, End of Watch is a terrific book. In my opinion Finders Keepers is better. The biggest problem I had with End of Watch is that the other two books of the trilogy felt real, scary real...and here, the telekinesis and body possession feels way out of place. Still it was a great read.

A subtle Dark Tower connection? Or am I looking way beyond the lines?

I loved it! Much better than Mr. Mercedes, and in my opinion the best book by Stephen King since 11/22/63. The last two paragraphs are pure gold that will keep you pumped for Part Three.

Currently on page 243, but I had to go back for this quote. Funny and very scary at the same time.
