I found this book to be so slow in the beginning so I have to give it a meh rating. I will say I'm glad I stuck with it as I did end up enjoying it but it just wasn't one of my faves if hers. ☹️

4 stars. Interesting character driven novel telling the stories of two women (a grandmother and granddaughter)in different time periods both holding themselves back from happiness and how one generation ends up influencing the next.

Perfect beach read! Read it in one sitting because I couldn't put it down!!
