Thought I would pick up a famous classic, and it was definelty worth it. Not a single page of this book was boring and I stayed up into the early hours of morning reading it. The characters felt so real with Peter Benchley revealing their backstories as if he were gossiping about them. His way of describing peoples character is unforgettable. This book was not merely about a shark but how people change under trial and the affect it has on others.

Since how to train your Dragon-the hidden world is coming out soon I thought I would read at least the first book. It's very different from the movie (more than I usually find) but still very entertaining and funny. The illustrations are quite goofy which makes the book even better. Its light and easy which is just what I was looking for after reading The Book Theif.
