The Lake House | Kate Morton

I listened to the audiobook version of this - the quick change of dates with each chapter made it tricky to keep track of the story line at first. (It would‘ve been easier had I been reading it.) But once I got used to when and where, I really liked this story.

Soooo good. I listened to the audio book and it was excellent. “Return to the scene of the crime 15 years later” stories are always satisfying to me. This one is well-woven and full of surprises. Highly recommend.

Lost Among the Living | Simone St. James

I love Simone St James' writing style. The women in her books are smart, independent thinkers, and fully capable of navigating the world, no matter what kind of crap is thrown their way. They get to the truth. I also love the supernatural aspect to her stories.

This particular book was excellent. I love the post WWI time period. The characters are excellent. Read it. You‘ll love it!

At the recommendation of a friend, I read The Sun Down Motel this weekend. I loved it. The interwoven time lines, the perfectly paced clues that lead you down the path like a trail of breadcrumbs are a treat to read. I‘m thrilled to find a new author to binge-read.

An excellent read... so many unexpected twists and turns! I did not see the end of this one coming. Stressful, but worth it.

Don't Let Go | Harlan Coben

I‘m late to the Harlan Coben fan club, but I loved this book. HC has a way of weaving the story, and even when you think every stone has been uncovered... there‘s still one gut-punch left to be told. I took this one out from my local library, and not long after, they closed for the COVID-19 lockdown. I‘ll return it once they‘re open again... I might read this again to look for clues I might have missed the first time.

MallenNC I just recently started reading him and they have all been good page turners. 5y

Matt Ruff has a certain way of creating worlds within worlds, and characters that you can‘t help but like... even when they don‘t make the smartest of choices. I loved this book. I‘ll read it again.

An easy read with an interesting two person narrative. You‘ll want to skip ahead to see how it ends, but try not to... it‘s worth the wait.
