Easy read! Enjoyed the characters. Father/Daughter complicated relationships at their finest. Deception, hard decisions, moral conviction versus paternal love… mild plot twists. Enjoyed this one.

While Jewell did a great job with character development, I felt as though I knew the ending 1/3 of the way thru the book.
This one had good potential but lost me with the crime plot twist boards the middle. The unrealistic serious relationship development lost me a little as well.
Finished the third book in the series today. I enjoyed the character development. Main theme is repeated quite often throughout the book and I anticipated the cliff hanger ending from the moment I started chapter one. I will continue to read the series, but was a little disappointed with this one. Hoping book 4 is better!
Read this to approve for my 11 year old. The subject (fantasy) is similar to@what I would typically enjoy, just on a more PG level. No unnecessary sex or swearing. Easy read. The characters changed a little during the last third of the book, but all in all, a good read that I will definitely let my daughter read!
Not the typical book I would read, but definitely grabbed my attention. Listen through Audible. Really enjoyed the characters in this book and appreciated the historical references, backed by the author notes at the end. Somewhat suspected the twist, but appreciated it none the less!
Read this one because of all the hype around it. To be honest, if I didn‘t like the actress Blake Lively, I might not have picked it up at all. Descent relationship story throughout. Definitely recommend you read the epilogue because it explains what I initially judged as weak character development.
Picked up It Starts with Us after finishing It Ends with us. In fairness, I wasn‘t a fan of It Ends with us Either but I found this plot to be extremely predictable with less suspense than the first book. Character development was so-so. Language was plainly written. A few good sex scenes throughout.
I truly loved this book. Good twist, enjoyed the writing style.
Easy “read,” but admittedly I listened exclusively on audio book. Story line is very PG and at times hard to follow. Character development is So, So; could be more descriptive since they are “fairy folk” and ultimately mythical creatures. My 11 year old may have loved this one, I almost quit a few times…
If you‘re looking for a romance thriller, this is a good read! I “read” the audio book version. Good narration. A little bit of a slow start, but about half way thru I was hooked and was surprised by unexpected twists and turns.
Not Collin‘s best work. Lucy Grays character never truly made sense or unfolded. Provided a little more depth to Snow‘s character later in the series, but not enough to justify the addition to the series. Some things are better left as is.
Had to read after finishing Fourth Wing with a cliff hanger. If I‘m being honest, book 1 was far more intriguing. Characters developed in book 1 slightly changed in book 2. Romance was not quite as steamy in this title.
Elston did a good holding my interest and creating unexpected turns. Well written. Minimal foul language throughout. Narrator inflection played on the authors words keeping me on the edge of my seat!
