Finally only four chapters away from plodding through the repetitive, lifeless punishment that is this book. Whatever muse inspired the first two books in this series has flown. I'm driven by stubborn completionism at this point. I'm stunned by the elegant storytelling the scriptwriters of the TV adaptation were able to salvage from this literary wreckage—something I rarely find myself in the position to say. Farewell, Westeros.
