I learned over the weekend that one of my favorite books of 2017 is being made into a limited series by Kerry Washington and Reese Witherspoon. With the talent involved, and the fact that it‘s a series (and not a movie), I‘m hopeful that the nooks and crannies of Ng‘s thoughtful characters can be brought to life for the screen. PS: The audiobook is also really good.
