My physical and audio TBR for Dewey‘s Reverse Readathon! I‘m so excited!
My hold came in at the library. Goodbye, Friday night productivity.
"It was clear from the data that we cannot give our children what we don't have." This woman is my spirit animal.
Sisters + mom virtual book club time! I've got my lime sparkling water (with mandarins) and I'm ready to log in.
The Monopolists and a Perrier after a long day at work - Monday night party over here. Also, apparently I'm on a reading-about-board-games kick as of late...
"I love inscriptions on fly leaves and notes in margins, I like the comradely sense of turning pages someone else turned, and reading passages some one long gone has called my attention to." Me too, dear woman; me too.
"Then suddenly I saw them, off to my right, the hulking cows, motionless and munching on weeds near a stand of trees. Most were actually bills with portentous horns, and now they were between me and chess city." ? I don't know why I find this so hilarious, but I do... ??
Impulsive library hookup. At over 300 pages, it will probably be more of a fling than a one-night-stand, but who knows. I can make responsible choices about bedtime when I'm dead.
Home from the library, the kids are all holed up in their bedrooms with their spoils, and I'm making my way through the rest of this month's book club pick so I can start my new library books later!
