I started this series in middle school, but never read the last book! Was browsing for a new read and stumbled across the series again, so I‘ll finally be able to finish it for real!
Wow! The last chapters of this book really make it all worth it. I started this book not really being all that into it, but something about it just kept pulling me back in. Maybe it was the pure goodness in Elias or the raw courage in Laia that kept me reading. Or maybe the haunting storytelling by author Sabaa Tahir kept me craving more. Whatever it was, this book had it and I can‘t wait to get my hands on the second one! #readingchallenge2019
