How May We Hate You?: Notes from the Concierge Desk | Anna Drezen, Todd Dakotah Briscoe
Bailedbailed

Reading this book is like spending an evening with acquaintances who think they are hilarious but are just tiresome. Is it really news that some guests are impatient and unreasonable, and that rooms are not cleaned properly? Couldn't finish it.

Smart, complex, impossible to put down. Even if this is not your genre, you'll like this one.

A page-turning mystery. As good as the who-done-it story is the glimpse into the life of the protagonist, a clever medical student who has Asperger's syndrome.

I read this 25 years ago, and it is the book that ignited my love of reading as an adult, and one of the first books I ever stayed up all night to read. I'd never read a "western" before, and haven't since, but this isn't your basic "western" novel. I need to go back and read it again.

Fascinating and well-written non-fiction about the history and evolution of the Church of LDS and an off-shoot polygamist sect. I don't read a lot of non-fiction, but I couldn't put this book down.

I loved this book. A sweeping story of The ambitions, dreams and disappointments of an imperfect family. Beautifully written with well-developed characters. A book that you'll enjoy reading, and that will stay with you after you finish.
