Fast paced thriller! In spite of a broad set of characters, each is well developed. The author keeps the plot moving with plenty of twists and turns. There were a couple of spots that could've been trimmed down a bit but overall a great summer read!

3.5 out of 5 stars. Compelling thriller/mystery with some interesting twists and turns. The changing point of view kept it interesting. Many "British-isms" that were distracting at times but otherwise a fun summer read.
Really enjoyed this. Well developed characters and a multilayered plot. Plus I could relate to the mid-40s angst. :) a fast read perfect for the beach.
I don't really understand what the big deal is about this book. The writing itself is fine and held my interest to the finish, but the characters weren't well developed; telling the story entirely In interviews felt forced; and everything seemed to come together a little too conveniently plot-wise.
