Currently reading and really enjoying.
Just read this for the second time - first time was almost six years ago in grad school. Wonderful, atmospheric story. I remember first reading these authors, not knowing what to expect and thinking "whoa" once I realized there were paranormal elements. Highly recommended.
When olden-days cartographers found the limits of their knowledge, they left a blank space on their maps, inscribed simply: Hic sunt dracones!
Loved this, especially the part about how mental modeling contributes to productivity.
Hard to believe this was published in 1969 when Crichton was just 27. Wow.
