Wow! This was one book that was so intense from start to finish I would put it down to absorb what I read and pick it back up immediately to get more.

I work retail and during the holiday season only have one day off a week. Today I finally have a day off with no plans to leave my place. What a better way to spend it then with a new Scarpetta adventure.

Great day in South Dakota-the annual book festival featured a favorite writer-Jeffrey Deaver! Here's my sis with him...sadly I wasn't around when it was taken. But we both loved his most recent book Steel Kiss! There were many authors to enjoy, including Anne Perry and Jane Smiley.

Not sure how I feel about this book. Half way through and getting irritated with the selfish, whiny voice of the narrator. I always enjoy historical fiction centered around English royals, and I know some were greedy, but this one is not very interesting. I'm past the half way point and I cannot put a book down when I have gotten this far, so here's to hoping it will only get better.

I started reading the Outlander Series because I was in a Game of Thrones withdrawal waiting for the new book. Now I am starting the most recent and having all the feels. What do I do when I finish and have to wait for the next release of this series too?
