In the wake of police-related shootings and attacks against the brave men and women who serve our communities, Stamper's book is a welcomed contribution to the nation's discussion of policing in America. The book is appropriate for both lay readers and policy makers/researchers alike as it's jargon-free and takes the time needed to clearly explain terms that readers may be encountering for the first time.

Terrible. Interesting concept in light of current political circumstances, however, this novel reads like a cheap third-rate film and is poorly constructed from beginning to end. It's to "Advise and Consent" what "Sharknado" is to "Jaws."

If you were hoping to read this for a "behind-the-scenes" account of a presidential convention, move on, because this book isn't worth the paper it's written on.

Words cannot capture how beautiful and delicate this book is in describing a love that was hidden from the world, but beyond present between two human beings. If you read one book this summer, make it "Hidden" by Matthew Griffin.
