pickMan, I couldn‘t put this book down. It was a fun homage to horror, a creepy study of a suburban family, and maybe even a little bit of a satire on reality TV. Fun!
So far I‘ve flown through the first two stories! On to the second half.
One of my favorite Shakespeare quotes: “Stars, hide your fires; let not light see my black and deep desires.” (Bonus: The art in this graphic novel is really cool.)

Snagged this on Kindle today! I‘ve only read the first chapter, but I‘ve been thoroughly entertained so far.

pickHoly macaroni, this book was the berries! I loved the first in the series but then I felt “Lair of Dreams” was a little slow. Everything from “LoD” paid off in “BtDBY.” I was so emotionally invested in all of the characters. The ending- WHOA. There were some things I wasn‘t expecting to happen and I couldn‘t stop reading, even when my eyes were begging for sleep. It‘ll be a long, hard wait for the finale.

pickWhy doesn‘t this book have a bigger fan base?! I LOVED this book. A seriously creepy supernatural serial killer from a religious cult, all the glitz and glam of the 1920s, speakeasies, jazz, poets...! Libba Bray‘s writing is always beautiful. I loved all of the characters and there was really only one thing that made me roll my eyes. I‘ve already started “Lair of Dreams!”

I'm enjoying this book way too much.
One of the many reasons I adore the Avatar-verse is the sense of humor. The comics carry on the tone of the show perfectly.
