Just started this one after reading the brilliant When We Collided. I'm seeing Emery next month, so I'm trying to read as much as I can by her in the meantime!

Actually, I think the title our esteemed friends in the empire now like to use is "fire-breathing bitch-queen."
So excited to start this one as my new lunchtime read for this week! I also found out I'm going to be able to hear Emery Lord speak in April- too excited!
Cute and charming, but there were some plot inconsistencies and too-convenient resolutions at the end. A much improved read over The Fill In Boyfriend.
I thought my expectations couldn't be met after Crown of Midnight, but I was so wrong. My heart is so full for all of the characters. I am so glad I gave this series a shot even though I didn't love the first book. Also, ROWAN.
A book that lived up to the hype, Passenger is just as stunning on the inside as its beautiful cover suggests. Bracken captures the feel of so many different historical eras and locations, and tied it all together with a rich family legacy.
Excited to try another Kasie West book! While the Fill In Boyfriend wasn't my favorite, I've heard nothing but good things about The Distance Between Us! Here's hoping that it lives up to the hype!
Absolutely loving Heir of Fire so far! So glad I didn't give up on this series after having a subpar response to the first book! Also, I might be heading toward shipping Rowan with Celaena...🙈
I love YA with a political slant, and while this definitely had that, it felt too formulaic and it was hard to connect or empathize with the main character. Despite the cliffhanger ending, I don't think I'd read the next book (if there is one).
