I LOVE this world Jodi Meadows has created. It's deep and strange and interesting, and I can't wait to explore it further in books 2&3. Mira is a rich, wonderful character, and I was cheering for her from page one—she's flawed and real and she GROWS and learns and changes. I loved every single character, even the ones I hated. There's a glimmer of romance that's wonderfully understated, and I'm excited for more.
