Great story. The plot's unexpected twists and turns help it avoid cliche fantasy-fairy tale tropes.

I finished this book and was left feeling frustrated. I loved the idea of our Cinderella being a long lost alien-cyborg- princess, but the pacing was slow. I knew she was the lost princess when the back story of the Lunar royal family was relayed; she didn't find out until the last chapter.

I loved this book! The plot and title seem so obvious, but by the end you're scratching your head before the mystery is unraveled. I found the archaic hysterical woman in need of a slap to bring her back to her senses and the immediate need for a stiff drink as the tension rises more than amusing.

The relationship between the Wiggins siblings seems so black and white, but then moves into a much more nuanced and dynamic configuration once, Valentine and Peter form their partnership to conduct their influence campaign. Valentine acknowledges Peter's vicious nature, but cooperates to gain power.
