Started reading this book as an extracurricular novel whenever I need to take a break from my current primary read, Jane Eyre. Love the writer‘s style and I think I am enjoying this book much more than One Hundred Year‘s of Solitude. page 13/348

Page 172/433, unfortunately somehow this magnificent book became boring the moment she became a governess and met our leading man. If a tv show became boring i would move on after a couple episodes left me uninvested; so, i will treat this book the same way, save myself some many boring/frustrated hours, read a different book, and come back to this when i am ready and refreshed and having forgotten the feeling of boredom.
Hands down one of the best or the best books I have ever read. Both the execution and plot/character is perfect. I love this book and something about its personality has brought me back to fourth grade which was somewhat of a golden age of reading for me. I am on Chapter 10, 85/433 pages in.
I am half-way but I only feel compelled to read this because it‘s my brothers favorite novel. I tend to notice in many novels things only get good after the half-way mark. I would hope that I have no regrets having spent my time reading this. We shall see. Let me know if you‘ve read any of Dostoevsky‘s works and what you thought!
