The Confession | John Grisham

The Confession is a gripping and saddening story that dives into the world of wrongful convictions, shattered dreams, racism, life as an innocent man on death row, and most importantly, the errors and flaws of capital punishment.

I have been a fan of John Grisham for several years and am always impressed by his writing talent.

I've read the precursor to this book, A Time to Kill, but don't remember much about it - it was a long time ago. What I do know is that this is a brilliantly.
Wow! Grisham is back with another excellently written stunner. A smart, fast moving story about the legality of a Holographic Will.

marleed I‘m slowly reading the JG catalog. It‘s been fun. I‘ve not read them in order which makes it interesting to read the changes in his writing style. 2y

Surely is a page-turner, with many characters and places. Fans of suspense novels, like myself, would love this book. Grisham does it fast-paced and never gives a chance to bore you.

Delightful, humorous, sometimes exciting, lots of the fascinating legal detail that is Grisham's trademark.

The ending is slightly disappointing but is also consistent with the behaviors of the characters, so not unsatisfactory. All in all, a really good read.

I just finished and it left me so mad!

This author used to just write a good story. He would have action and definite good guys and bad guys . . . lately though he has a good enough following that he has decided that he is going to write whatever the heck he wants because he knows that people will buy and read his books anyway. I suppose I am an example of that!

Well, it is Grisham, and I adore his style and plots, and as his Serbian translator and editor for years, I must be honnest and say this is not his usual masterpiece... But he is only human after all.

But worth reading for sure!

What can I say about John Grisham that hasn't already been said a hundred times over. He really is the master of the legal thriller and The Judge's List is just more evidence of that. His books always draw me in from the first few pages and leave me needing to read more.

The Lost Symbol | Dan Brown

I am so glad that I read it. Again, Dan Brown delivers a thought provoking story in his unique style. I know others really dislike Brown's style of writing saying that it follows a formula of the ultra dramatic and the never ending cliff hanger chapters, but I just don't tire of that at all. A great thrilling read. I can't wait to read the next Dan Brown book!
