Great book, an easy and compelling read. An abundance of rich characters with a plot that skillfully jumps back and forth on its timeline.

This book is wonderful. It‘s interesting to read a story set in Nazi Germany from the point of view of a non-Jewish German family caught in the heinous politics the time. I‘m only half-way through but definitely recommend. Markus Zusak is a descriptive genius.
