I enjoyed this book more as I got further into it. I could've lived without all the references to her lover and her frequent digs at Christianity... But this is her memoir and she can do as she pleases. Overall, an interesting look into a slice of North Korea that no one gets to see.

I remember reading the epilogue of Book 7 and thinking, "What the?! Is this fan fiction?"... I felt the same about Cursed Child, although I did enjoy the last third(ish) of the play. Even so, would love to see it in London! ??I'm curious how they're pulling off all the magical special effects... ⚡️

Overall: No regrets reading it, but probably will stick to the books. ?

A bit of a dark read and I thought it dragged on much too long, but the last 30 pages or so added value.
