It was great to see the difference between the movie and what was and was not included. Some chapters had a hard time keeping my interest but when it got moving it was great. “Not all those who wander are lost”

Awesome story and an easy read. Didn‘t know anything before seeing the adaptation on Netflix. She has to save the world while also falling for two different guys, one that deserves her and one that just wants to use her. Magic vs a dark void that destroys anything in its way. The next duology is in hand already. “What is infinite? The universe and the greed of men”.

Needed something to break up my fantasy fiction streak so I picked up this short and easy read. It really only opens a slither of what really happened in that time but you get the image. Mostly focuses on the true accounts of an unpredictable and unlikely love story.
“Forever is a long time, or it could be tomorrow”.

I was struck with a quote that I related to deeply, we are all trying to chase that feeling of being 13 again getting lost in our first Harry Potter book. The first trilogy of Pierce Brown dang near did that. Mixed between hunger games and space travel I was locked in from chapter 1. Golden Son was my favorite of the trio, intense! Book 4 is on my shelf, waiting.

I found myself reading it just for the heck of it. Which is why I had trouble getting through it and thought it was a bit boring probably because I had the show in mind.
