“The Next Person You Meet In Heaven” by Mitch Albom to the original book “The Five People You Meet In Heaven” The original book followed a man (Eddie) through his journey in Heaven after was killed by being crushed by a carnival ride while trying to save a young girl, Annie. In this sequel book we follow Annie‘s own journey through heaven. In this book Heaven is depicted as going through 5 people who had a significant affect on your life.

Dior.campbell The genre of this novel would be inspirational fiction or philosophical fiction. A reoccurring motif in this book would be the imagery of kaleidoscope colours it represented new beginnings and the end or beginning of a life cycle. This book was written by my favourite Author and it is the sequel to my favourite novel. I would recommend this book to anyone who like a book that makes them think or look at life differently! 4y
Dior.campbell I would give this book a 100/10 I thought it was amazing and it‘s something that I will read over and over again and not get tired of! @MissYaremcio 4y
Dior.campbell Oh also, The point of view is first person (through Annie‘s eyes) it really adds to the book and I think the author did this so the reader could feel everything Annie was feeling as she was experiencing it! 4y
MissYaremcio I love Mitch Albom! He wrote my favorite novel of all time “the Magic Strings of Frankie Presto“! Great review! 6/6 4y

The Bunker Diary | Kevin Brooks
Pickpick

*continuation of my review*
A reoccurring motif in this book was the visual of dark sunken eyes, it represented the divorce of Linus‘ parents (protagonist) and was represented many times throughout the novel. I overall absolutely loved this book, it really left me thinking and just slightly disturbed.

“The Bunker Diary” by Kevin Brooks is a horror/thriller that will leave you speechless. This book is about the journal of a 16 year old teenager named Linus Weems who is unexpectedly captured and thrown into a bunker along with 6 others. The journal follows the horrors they faced as well as the bonds they made. If you like books that are filled with twists and turns at every page then you will love this book!
