Real Hitchcockian ending. She is original and the end is wonderful. I nominate this book for the best ending of 2018.

This is a dystopian novel like Handmaid‘s Tale. Very similar in that it is a tight hot box of a world with restrictions and cruelty. The main characters are sisters, which sets this story apart. It is told from the perspective of coming-of-age women in the care of their mother. Their father has died and is the only man they‘ve been exposed to until men make it into their world upending their world.
