As is typical with Pratchett, the Fifth Elephant manages to mix humour with social commentary and a wry satirical look at the foibles of our species.

One of the best books I have read in a long time. Absolutely engrossing, touching, full of moments of genius and a tribute to the ingenuity of the human species. I couldn't put it down.
