So proud of our library! Built about 1855, overlooks the Oswego Canal and Lake Ontario. (NY) It's the oldest public library still in its original building in the United States. Gerrit Smith was a prominent abolitionist and he agreed to put up the money for the building, stipulating that it "shut out no person on account of their race, complexion, or condition." We were inclusive before it was a thing. ?

Battling poisonous snakes and deadly insects, Preston joins an exploratory team in an attempt to find an ancient civilization deep in the rain forest in Honduras. A team of archaeologists, photographers, and adventurers find what seems to be Mosquitia, this mythical civilization. Ethical disagreements, political considerations, and a mysterious disease that affects almost half of the team add tension to an already thrilling real-life adventure.
