This book is comforting to me. Slow in parts but I love the relationship of Emma and Mr. Knightley. Wish there were more of that. I do love Emma's independence and eventually acknowledging her faults.
Overall I really liked this book. Solnit gives many great examples of resistance movements that have created real change all around the world. She focuses a lot on the time around 9/11 but I still think it's very relevant.
Read as really terrible fan fiction. None of the characters behaved like they did in the original 7 books. I also felt the story was uninteresting.
Loved this book. It was very interesting to think about how the arts factor into a post-apocalyptic world. The writing was captivating and it was an easy read.
Love everything about this comic. It's especially relevant in our current political climate. The characters are badass and their "crimes" are so relatable.
I really liked parts of this book but it felt too much like a memoir of a person that I didn't care too much to know about. It was interesting that she delved so deep into the world of modern-day witches but some of her writing was uninteresting to me.
