I really enjoyed this book. It was a perfect summer read, quick and entertaining and I loved the characters (plus HIPPOS, you can't go wrong with hippos!). I'm looking forward to the sequel!

I devoured this book. It's short but entertaining, I had a hard time putting it down. I loved all the interconnections with Mitchell's other work.
I started this book two hours ago and can't put it down. It's fun and so perfectly David Mitchell-ian.
I was going to wait to start this book because I'm tired but I just couldn't. ¯\_( “D)_/¯ #readersGottaRead
**updated to add: this was such a fun book, it would be perfect for cuddling up with one of the kiddos and reading on a chilly night, though I enjoyed it on my own as well. I knew some of the stories already but Neil tells them in his very Gaiman way and has made them all the more magical and fun.
This was a strange little book that I could barely stand to put down. I felt a real connection with Auri but also, weirdly, the inanimate objects in the book. This story was a delight, I almost wish I had time to read it again immediately.
This book was such fun, I'm looking forward to starting the next (and can I just say that having a sister who works at a library and can bring you book two in a series as soon as you close book one is AWESOME)!
I loved this book. I started reading it a while ago and couldn't really get into it but the audiobook was the perfect format for it to really grab me. I'll miss the characters (and Allan Corduner's voice).
Let's do this!
I didn't even bother going to bed last night. I'm exhausted but it was worth it. What a heartbreakingly beautiful book.
I need to sit with this one for a bit and then read it again. And then again (probably). I feel like I'll be thinking about it for a very long time.
A grey Sunday in October, a cup of coffee, and this book. Perfect.
