Just starting Hear the Wind Sing. Excited to get into a Murakami I haven't read before. He's one of my favorite authors, but there are still a handful of things I've never read.

It has been a long time since a novel gripped me so quickly. I loved Butler's Fledgling and am really excited to read more of his excellent work. So few female sci-fi authors of color, and that's a shame.

prowlix I read this a few months ago and it's soooo weird in the best way! I need to pick up the second in the series 9y

⭐️⭐️ - I love William Gibson, but didn't love this book. It has his typical great style, and the main character Cayce Pollard is a likable and well-developed protagonist, but at no point did the story or supporting characters ever really grab my interest. Only finished because it's Gibson.

Picked up this double issue of Asimov's at a used book store, featuring a story by Ursula K. Le Guin from her Four Ways to Forgiveness collection.

A wonderful memoir that makes growing up in 1950s middle America sound like a blast. It's hilarious, and listening to the audio book read by the author adds a whole other level to the enjoyment. I highly recommend it.

I've been really enjoying this audiobook while driving over the last week or so. Very funny look at what life was like growing up in middle America in the 1950s.

Yeah, I read manga intended for people like a third of my age, what of it?

I've only been into manga for a short time, but Dr. Tenma from Monster is easily my favorite character of the genre so far.

I've started and stopped this book almost a half dozen times, not because I wasn't enjoying it, but because I picked it up at the wrong times and found myself having to put it aside for work or school or just life stuff. I've got it on audio and Kindle now, so let's do this.

'Nine Princes in Amber' is an enjoyable fantasy romp with an interesting premise and a likable lead character. The prose is nothing to write home about, but the story moves quickly and engages really effectively from start to finish. Would recommend to fantasy lovers.

I was listening to this on audio book a bit in the car today. I get why Chris Hardwick isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I like all of his shows. I'm not the type to read this kind of book, but I'm looking for extra motivation lately.

Time for volume 3 of this amazing manga series (though the single volume additions don't seem to be on Litsy, only the combined editions with two volumes at a time.)
