Loving this story

I suppose if I were seventy and this was my first Katy Bowman book, I would have liked it more. But there was nothing new here for me. I was looking forward to inspiration from her septuagenarian co-writers but I found their contribution to be minimal.

I just loved this book to pieces.

Perfect little cinnamon bun of a book. Christmas, Cornish scenery, delicious baked goods, and truly likeable characters. Oh, and a puffin.

I wish Box would write more about an average day for a game warden and less about grizzly murders. If I wanted something evil, I'd rather watch Doofenshmirtz.

Meh. My first Jodi Picoult. I will try another but choose more carefully. Prose is attractive but characters and plot twists less so.

Fun read for Gilmore Girls fans, especially with coffee coffee coffee
