Happy #BookLoversDay! I just finished Sunshine, and it was funny and weird and beautiful. So pretty much right up my alley. And a good reminder that I need to read more Robin McKinley!

Ah! My first Litsy post! Whew, here we go. It took a little while for me to warm to this one, as the exposition and setup were not grabbing me. Turns out it's a slow burn; about halfway through, it morphs into a quasi-Spirited Away, but with more malice, backstabbing, and spookiness. That brought me fully on board, and I began to really appreciate the culture and mythology and genuine heart in this book. I look forward to more works by Ms. Choo!
