I couldn't put this down because my mind kept wandering to the idea that a Republic of Gilead seems more possible now than ever. This one should be flying off the shelf with 1984. I especially love the idea of a dystopian noble where the protagonist remembers the world before. Politics and opinions aside, Atwood's writing is smart and sharp. Worth the read regardless of the reason.
I'm generally a hardback snob, but there's something about a dog eared paperback classic....
