Aluet_ if you like books that are fast paced and will keep you reading I recommend The Hate U Give. It also talks about the violence that African American teens go though and will keep you alert. The point of view in this book is First person. The author uses Wills voice directly allowing readers to hear his thoughts and emotions as he speaks in verse. We are given his thoughts and how he thinks while reading this book. 3w
